It acts as middleware between the user’s code and OpenAI’s python library, recording all OpenAI API requests and allowing users to search and explore request history in the PromptLayer dashboard. The platform also enables users to log OpenAI requests, search usage history, track performance, and visually manage prompt templates. PromptLayer provides a Python wrapper library that can be installed via pip. Users can add tags through the pl_tags argument to track and group requests in the dashboard.
