CoverDoc.ai was created by Ambar Pansari, who was laid off from his role as the Head of Product at a startup in Austin. He discovered that companies consistently required a cover letter for their applications, which led him to create an Early Access Program for CoverDoc.ai. After a couple of rounds of feedback and improvements, he launched CoverDoc publicly in March 2023 and has over 1,600 users within just two months, with no paid marketing.
