AgileGPT AI is a combination of Agile methodologies and Generative AI, specifically OpenAI’s ChatGPT model. Agile AI is a vendor on the Atlassian Marketplace that offers apps, add-ons, plugins, and integrations. One of their products is the Agile AI – ChatBot by GPT, which is available on Google Play. The ChatGPT model is capable of generating human-like text based on the prompts it receives.There are indications that the data used to train the ChatGPT model is limited or not up-to-date with regards to business agility, Scrum, and other agile practices. Nevertheless, the model is capable of generating acceptable and even good answers, although there may be some repetitiveness and superficiality.
The integration of generative AI in agile teams and processes is revolutionizing the way software development is approached. However, at this stage, it is unlikely that a Generative AI will soon render agile practitioners obsolete in practicing Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks.
