Notion AI is a writing assistant that can help you write, brainstorm, edit, summarize, and more. It is a connected assistant that helps you think bigger, work faster, and augments your creativity, right inside the functional workspace you’re already familiar with. Notion AI is available to all users and can be prompted using your space bar, highlighting text and selecting “Ask AI”, or via slash commands. Some of the current functions of Notion AI include summarizing important and actionable information, improving writing, catching spelling and grammar mistakes, and translating text.
Notion AI is unique because it has a highly flexible drag-and-drop text editor, where any AI-generated content can be easily rearranged and transformed. However, all AI outputs are limited and AI continues to be an area of rapid research and development. Limitations in AI as a whole can be attributed to many different causes, including but not limited to: narrow inputs, systemic biases, limited quantity of training or test data, or poor quality of training or test data.
